The new Triumph Street Twin BS6 has been launched in India at a price of Rs 7.45 lakh (ex-showroom). There is no increase in price compared to BS4 model. The BS6 Street Twin in Jet Black colour comes at ₹ 7.45 lakh (ex-showroom). Whereas the Korosi Red and Matt Ironstone coloured models costs ₹ 7.58 lakh (ex-showroom). Besides an updated engine, the new motorcycle remains identical to the BS4 model.
Triumph Street Twin BS6 draws power from ba 900cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor pairs with a five-speed transmission. The engine is good for producing respective power and torque outputs of 65 hp and 80 Nm. The bike gets a ride-by-wire tech, traction control system and exhales via a twin-port exhaust system with twin brushed silencers. Apart from meeting the stricter emission norms, there are no changes to the 2020 Triumph Street Twin. The bike continues to get KYB 41mm forks at the front along with preload-adjustable KYB twin shock absorbers at the rear.
the motorcycle continues to stay the same and the specifications and equipment stay the same as well. There is a slip-assist clutch as standard fitment along with riding modes such as road and rain. The motorcycle also gets ride-by-wire throttle along with ABS and traction control. The BS6 Street Twin gets a 310 mm disc up front with a Brembo four-piston calliper. Also comes with a 220 mm disc at the rear that is gripped by a Nissin two-piston floating calliper on the rear wheel. It features 18-inch alloy wheels at front and 17-inch at the rear.
The Triumph Street Twin goes up against the Ducati Scrambler Icon and the Harley-Davidson Street Rod.
