Rissala Electric Motors, a Gurugram-based electric vehicle start-up, showcased the Evolet Hawk electric sportbike at the Auto Expo 2020. The Evolet Hawk is the brand’s first full-faired electric sportbike, which is expected to be launched within the next 3-4 months. The Hawk has a 72V 40 Ah lithium-ion battery and can be charged fully with a fast charger in around 3-4 hours. The Hawk is said to have a range of 100 km on a single charge, with a maximum top speed of 120 kmph. It is a fully-faired electric bike which will hit the market by June this year.
Design-wise, the Evolet Hawk has sharp looks with the fairing and clip-on handlebars. The Hawk comes with split seats, full-digital instrument console, along with telescopic front forks and a mono-shock rear suspension. Braking duties are handled by twin discs on the front wheel, and a single disc set-up on the rear wheel. The wheels are both 17-inches, shod with tubeless tyres. Evolet Hawk gets an LED projector headlamp, sharp side panels, a mass-forward stance. Other notable design elements on the Evolet Hawk bike include a split step-up seat, LED tail lights with LED indicators, rear tyre hugger, and alloy wheels.
Evolet Hawk comes equipped with a fully digital instrument panel that offers readouts like speed, trip meter, odometer, battery charge status, remaining range, etc. This electric bike also comes with a dedicated app for IOT features like smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle location, etc.
